A Woman On The Edge

“A laugh-out-loud show delivered with wit, great musicality and a hugely generous performance from Dawson.” The Mercury

Why did this nice woman, “approaching middle age from the wrong direction”, have to leave Liverpool and come halfway round the world?

Find out in this musical comedy tour de force, fresh from sold-out Edinburgh Fringe performances.

For anyone who’s ever looked for answers to life’s big questions, this funny, moving, highly original show combines the multi-talented Claire Dawson with colourful video backgrounds weaving story and song seamlessly together.

The lush visuals, created by AFI Award winning Michael Gissing, allow Claire to play another 32 characters as well as her own backing group and band. She sings and accompanies herself in her own contemporary compositions as well as timeless gems from the diva repertoire.

“The show looks and sounds gorgeous!” Stage Whispers
